A message from the Director

PELM has been established for the purpose of contributing to the industrial community through excellence in collaborative research and development. Our research programs are developed in consultation with companies with a view to improving their operations in tangible ways. In this context, we also provide opportunities for postgraduate research students to train with world-class researchers in a supportive environment.

International Conference on Engineering Failure Analysis

PELM will have a leading role in two conferences of international standing: the 5th International Conference on Engineering Failure Analysis, which will be held in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and Structural Integrity and Fracture, which we intend to hold in Central Queensland.
